Strength of the body. Strength of the mind. Strength of the spirit. These are not attributes which can be achieved in one day, week, or month. They are qualities that are earned from consistently putting in the work and persevering through setbacks.
At Rothermel Strength, “Lead by Example” is a core belief. I have been in the iron trenches, forging muscle and strength by consistently showing up and putting in the work for over 15 years. This level of dedication to our craft allows us to know exactly what clients are feeling when we say, “one more rep”. It is an action and feeling that earns a physique which you can be proud of and builds a “can do” mindset which carries over into life outside of the weight room.
As much as I prioritize “doing” over “thinking”, it is not enough to only experience the physical attributes of strength training. Understanding the “why” and “how-to’s” will give us as trainers more tools in the tool belt for our clients. If we rely only on the hammer, we will hit many nails but when there is a need to use a screwdriver or a saw, we want to be able to apply those tools to the necessary situation. That is where education comes into play. At Rothermel Strength we believe in being a life-long-learner and searching for more and better ways to help our clients understand exercise and nutrition strategies to be the strongest, healthiest you they can be.

At Rothermel Strength, we meet our clients where they are. By using appropriate progression protocols which build confidence, clients will experience success in their fitness and nutrition goals.
The field of exercise and nutrition can be a very confusing place because there are so many different opinions on nearly every topic, however at Rothermel Strength, we cut through the confusion and rely on basic, foundational principles. Focusing on the process rather than the outcome, encourages clients to consistently do the things necessary that will ultimately result in achievement.
If you are looking for fancy, “new and improved” ways to exercise that shreds body fat and reveals wash-board abs in 30 days with little to no effort, we are not the company for you. We do not believe in quick fixes, gimmicks, or shiny gadgets. Basics of exercise and nutrition have built physiques greek gods would be envious of and strength rivaling that of Samson of the Bible. Consistent, high-level effort, with proper progression, and the willingness to persevere through plateaus will lead you to your goals. We firmly believe that.
